The issue surrounding college is a problem to people in the United States. In America, one-third of the workforce possess a degree, with the demand for more individuals with degrees. The problem is that jobs for individuals with no college education are affected. In addition, the working class receives little support in getting a job with a life sustainable pay. 30 million Americans attend high school, out of that amount, 6 million have the privilege to expand their knowledge at colleges and universities. The other 24 million cannot attend because of similar problems like prices, competition, and the strain with their families.
The benefits of attending a degree is that individuals with a degree receive more pay (about 40% more than people with just a high school degree in the same job). Moreover, individuals in the middle class who receive their degrees also tend to move up in with this issue is that class or stay with a substantial reputation. The problem with this is that individuals who do not attend college are in a more difficult position because either the fee and expenses are too much or they do not know how to apply for such colleges. This is why either jobs should be given to all people or that education above high school should be made more affordable for them. In addition, people who do not have a way to go to college should have someone available who does to help them get that college degree they want. Many of the common jobs that do not require a degree have been taken away from Americans by foreign nations and laborers which endanger many of them and their families. also, the few jobs available are in competition with other who have a degree from a college or university. After World War II the United States government said that it would secure jobs for the labor force or people without a degree. This system stood well until the 1950s when more of the people with degrees began to start taking those jobs. and other jobs that were being put available for the laborers.(353 words)
